Activated Carbon is known as the universal adsorbent. It will adsorb "some" of almost any gas and the majority of Odors and Pollutants that are commonly in Commercial, Industrial, and Residential HVAC systems. Other adsorbents and blends are used for specific applications.

All carbons are 60% CCL4 Activity. Impregnated alumina are to manufactures standards.

D-Mark utilizes and recommends the use of pelletized activated carbon (vs granular carbon) in filled filters. Pellets will "pack" uniformly, without closing the holes in perforated metal or other facing materials. In turn, uniformly promotes even air flow, higher pass efficiency and maximum carbon utilization.
Normally, pelletized carbons have fewer fines, since there are no sharp corners to break off. This feature promotes uniformity of the bed, cleanliness both during handling and of the final product. A carbon with less fines will also result in fewer pounds a the bottom of the dum or bad that are thrown away.
